In addition to serving as the Crew Chief for Bruce Litton's Top Fuel dragster, Richard provides tuning consulting to the Kelley Motorsports team. He lives in Anderson, SC, and has a wife (Tina) and three daughters (Alexis, Ashley and Allie). Richard is an owner of Hartman Machine Works in Anderson, and Horton Race Cars in Belton, SC. As well as his work as crew chief and tuning consultant, Richard owns and drives a '55 Chevy Nostalgia Funny Car.
